Mid-Autumn Celebration!
Harvest Moon Chinese Cuisine, 12125 N. Oracle Road, is sponsoring its first Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration Tuesday, Sept. 6 through Monday, Sept. 12 with a modern version of the Man Han Imperial Feast.Every night, diners will experience an 11 course dinner prepared by world class Chef YongDong Wu, who was the executive chef in the Imperial Palace and holds six Guinness World Records for Chinese cuisine skills. Chef Wu’s dishes will be paired with 11 wines.
The three- hour meal is in observation of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, which is September 12 this year. The Man Han Imperial Feast traces its origins to the Imperial Court of the Qing Dynasty. It is known as one of the grandest meals in Chinese culture featuring numerous Manchu and Han cooking styles served in six banquets over three days.Reservations must be made to attend this modern version of this ancient Chinese celebration. Per person cost is $80 for Sept.6,7,8, 11 and 12 and $100 per person for Friday, Sept. 9. The event starts at 6 pm.

As part of Harvest Moon’s first update to our monthly news, we’d like to share our
Success Story. In March 2011, Harvest Moon Chinese Cuisine was honored with being featured as the Success Story for all Asian Restaurants.
The flattering article in the popular magazine Asian Restaurant News shared the accomplishments of our family owned business in Oro Valley, AZ.
The article highlighted Harvest Moon as one of the Nation’s Top 100 Chinese Restaurants, our restaurant had just recently received the award earlier this year at the annual ceremony held in January in San Francisco, California.
